PrimeSafe uses Joint Accreditation System of Australia and New Zealand (JAS-ANZ) accredited third-party auditing bodies to monitor the quality assurance systems at meat and seafood processing facilities.

List of PrimeSafe approved third party auditors

As a PrimeSafe licensee, when do I need to get an approved third party auditor to audit my facility?

You are required to have a contract in place with a PrimeSafe approved third party auditor before a licence to operate a meat or seafood processing facility is approved. The third party auditor is to conduct regular audits, with more information at Third Party Audits.

How do I organise a third party auditor to audit my facility?

You contact the third party auditors (using the contact details listed below) and make an appointment for them to audit the facility. They will send their report to you and PrimeSafe.

Why do I need to have third party audits of my facility?

It is a condition of your PrimeSafe licence, which helps to prove you have procedures that ensure you comply with standards to keep meat or seafood safe.
