PrimeSafe 2020-21 Fees and Licence Renewals

The following PrimeSafe 2020-21 fees apply for licences and approvals from 1 July 2020. The new fees were published in the Victoria Government Gazette on Thursday 30 April 2020. There have been no increases in fees from 2019-20.

PrimeSafe mailed renewals packs for the following licence types expiring 30 June 2020 on 1 May 2020.

  • Meat Transport Vehicle

PrimeSafe will not be inspecting renewing vehicles at the office or regional inspection sites. Renewing vehicles will not require an inspection. PrimeSafe may contact licensees in future to conduct an inspection. A licensee wishing to have their vehicle inspected can have their vehicle inspected by a Third Party Auditing Body.

PrimeSafe will be mailing renewals packs for the following licence types expiring 30 June 2020 on 20 May 2020.

  • Abattoir
  • Further Meat Processing Facility
  • Prime Tallow Processing Facility
  • Inedible Rendering Facility
  • Pet Meat Processing Facility
  • Pet Food Establishment
  • Poultry Processing Facility
  • Game Meat Field Harvester
  • Game Meat Processing Facility
  • Aquaculture
  • Wildcatch

To receive a renewed licence valid to 30 June 2021, licensees must return their completed form to PrimeSafe and pay the full fees. If you have not received your renewal pack by mid May for MTVs and or early June for the above other licences, contact the PrimeSafe office on 03 9685 7366 or info@primesafe.vic.gov.au. All licence renewal forms must be completed and returned to PrimeSafe and paid for by 30 June 2020 to continue operation from 1 July 2020.

PrimeSafe encourages licensees to return their renewal forms by email to info@primesafe.vic.gov.au and pay electronically by BPay or credit card over the phone.
