Under the
Meat Industry Act 1993 and the
Seafood Safety Act 2003 PrimeSafe is required to licence all meat processing and seafood processing facilities in Victoria. This section will provide all detail required to:
- determine if a business requires a licence to operate;
- apply for a licence;
- develop a Quality Assurance Program (Food Safety Plan);
- implement a Quality Assurance Program (Food Safety Plan);
- make changes to the business; and
- renew a licence.
